Kappa Omicron Nu is pleased to announce the installation of Nu Alpha Alpha Chapter at the University of Texas at Tyler on April 30, 2010. Thirty-seven members of the Department of Health and Kinesiology were initiated by Executive Director Dorothy I. Mitstifer. Dr. Scott Marzilli, an Omicron Pi member at Florida State University, is department chair and adviser. Officers are Natalie Wade - President, James Gardner - Vice President, and Sara Speer - Secretary. Congratulations.

The Spring 2010 publication of the chapter newsletter,The OBE, featured their yearly Research Night with undergraduate students Aron Tiongco and Kabrina Fiekert, graduate student Lisa Calanni, and professor Joyce Marie Brusasco.

Also highlighted were interviews with two alumni, Joanne Bloomfield and Claudia Langton Forbes. Both alumni members shared their career accomplishments. Amanda Mason and Diana Tanus recounted their 2009 Kappa Omicron Nu Conclave experience.
