Kappa Omicron Nu is happy to announce that Nu Phi Chapter was installed at the University of New Haven (CT) on Friday, April 23, 2010. Georgia Chavent is director of the nutrition and dietetics program, and Holly Betts is the chapter adviser. Congratulations.
Dorothy I. Mitstifer visited the campus to install the chapter and to speak at the Induction Ceremony of the Honor Society for Experiential Education. Her address, Connecting Honor Societies to a Broader Social Meaning, focused on empowerment and the responsibilities of honor societies----and honor society members.
