Undergraduate Research Forum

Nu Iota Chapter of East Carolina University's College of Human Ecology recently held the 2009 Kappa Omicron Nu (KON) Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum. Emily Allen's interior design team presented, "The Unplugged Office Building: How ECU Can Demonstrate a Commitment to Sustainable Design." The presentation beat more than eight other competitors representing nutrition, child development, and interior design academic programs. The KON forum offers human ecology students a chance to present research and creative endeavors in a public forum as in professional association conferences.
